Experiencing Culture: Paris Day 4

Day 3 in Paris.
Time: Somewhere in the night.

Me and my whole class are task with the research for Disneyland. We needed to find out what is what there as to make it easier for everyone. And so we did. tired as we were, we still stayed up late to gather as many information as we can. Like the top ten rides that most people recommended. I even found out the details for each rides like how long does the ride take and how many people can fit in at once. Right, so we got all the info necessary, so tomorrow will be a test of our worth at Disneyland, Paris.

Day 4 in Paris.
Time: Morning, around 9.00 am, I guess.

We all set out to the Metro train station outside our hostel and board a train. Our destination this time was what I first read as "Cheesy". That is where the Disneyland is located. Marne-La-Vallee Chessy.

The train ticket to "Cheesy", where Disneyland is located.

So the journey took us longer than usual as it is located well outside of Paris. I managed to slip in a few winks during the train ride. Once there, we entered the Walt Disney Studios as the place is much smaller and will be closed at 6.00 pm. Wait, 6? I remembered seeing it on the official webpage that it closes at 8? Whatever...

The map of Walt Disney Studios.

Walt Disney studios is one part of the whole Disneyland and is more focused on show-business with it's Hollywood themed environment. Most of the shows are located here. I didn't really go to the shows as I was more interested in the rides. So the whole group got separated into two. My group went to the all the rides recommended on the internet.

Disneyland Park, where most of the rides are.

Just chillin here. No biggie.

The Blue Wizards with Mickey ears.

The Incredibles characters.

Toy Story!

The Lion King! One of my all time favourites.

Mickey Mouse the wizard.

This was something I looked forward to. Since Disney bought Lucasfilms, the Star Wars movie franchise are own by them. They decided to make an eighth Star Wars movie and their shooting has already started on May 4th 2014(Star Wars day). May the "fourth" be with you.

Right before the start of the light show.

The whole experience was fun and all. We didn't managed to go to all the rides cause come on, there are more than 30 rides in there. There is no way we can finish them in one day. But still we did get to ride all the awesome roller coasters and it reminded me how screaming is fun. Some of us waited till nightfall to watch the light show at the Disney castle. It was like a 30 minutes show with Peter Pan as the main character. But they also included other characters like Quasimodo from the Hunchback of Notre Dame and Lumiere from Beauty and The Beast. The show is a spectacle of music accompanied with lights and fireworks.
